YouthBuild is YCC’s Core Program
The purpose of this six month program is to help young people, ages 16-24, get back on track and become self-reliant. Most of the young people in this program have left high school without a diploma and are unemployed. We provide these youth with a pathway to continue their education and to learn construction skills. In addition, we teach our members lifelong career and life skills that are necessary for accomplishing their goals.

Specialized Care for Children provides free care coordination for families of children with special healthcare needs in Illinois. (a division of university of Illinois, Chicago) We are able to help children who are residents of Illinois with certain chronic conditions. We offer free care coordination for all eligible children, regardless of your family.
We offer free care coordination for all eligible children, regardless of your family’s income level. We will help you make the most of your insurance, work with you to develop a personalized care coordination plan and point you in the direction of helpful resources. Financial assistance for eligible medical expenses — such as equipment, therapies, supplies and medical services — is also available to Core Program-eligible children whose families meet certain income guidelines.
- Diagnostic tests are provided, allowing you to quickly find out if your child has an eligible medical condition.
- Specialized care providers are available from our pool of experts, according to your child’s medical needs and where your family lives.
