Having basic things like access to transportation to get to and from doctors’ offices, the luxury of time to take off work to go to doctors’ appointments, having access to healthy food and a kitchen to cook that food, having access to a doctor that you can trust and that speaks your language and understands your culture- all of these things can make or break your ability to work, function and live a healthy, productive life.
