The Special Recreation Association of Central Lake County provides recreations programs and services to individuals with special needs or disabilities, and their families. Serves Lake Zurich, Hawthorn Woods, Mundelein, Vernon Hills, Libertyville, Lincolnshire, and Grayslake.

By partnering client, horse, volunteer and community, we offer riding opportunities that challenge disabled individuals to achieve their maximum potential which rewards their efforts. We provide quality trained horses so each client will have a chance to experience the highest quality ride with maximum benefits.

Provide a safe home for moms and their children for two years, referrals for counseling, career training, food programs and more, intense financial training and guidance, assistance securing permanent housing upon graduation.
